REMOTE OPERATIONS UPDATE
As COVID-19 continues to impact our community, SafeQuest Solano (SQS) is committed to continuing to provide comprehensive and trauma-informed services for survivors to the best of our ability during these unprecedented circumstances. Based on guidance from our local public health department, the CDC, CDPH, and in alignment with changes being made by other shelters and crisis centers throughout the state, we are implementing limited and temporary changes to our services and programming. The health of our staff, volunteers, and the people we serve is of utmost importance to us. Therefore, our crisis services and individual counseling sessions have shifted from in-person to phone or video conferencing.
SQS advocates have continued to provided accompaniment services to court hearings, hospitals, and other vital services on a case-by-case basis, as safety permits. Remote accompaniment protocols have been established as an alternative. While have suspended activities requiring a large group settings until further notice, our 24/7 crisis line will continue to operate normally until the new protocols developed for in-person, non-crisis services and programming are ready to roll out.
Thank you for your patience and support as SQS develops its infrastructure to administer individual counseling and peer groups remotely. We will provide timely updates as they become available.
